50 years ago, PANAL began as a company dedicated to agricultural aerial fumigation, throughout its history and thanks to the experience acquired; PANAL is recognized as an aviation school; in these years we have become the most experienced pilot training center in the country.

We are the aviation school with the greatest track record and experience in the aeronautical education in the country. 1963

Purchases first aircraft for fumigation in San Miguel.

1964

The idea of opening an aviation school is born.

1965

PANAL begins the training of agricultural pilots in the east of the country.

In addition to the field of instruction, at PANAL we have extensive experience in providing

the following services safely and efficiently:

Aerial Photography

At PANAL we provide the transportation service for professional photographers to carry out aerial photography over any permitted area of the national territory. Up to three (3) photographers can travel on the CESSNA 172N aircraft.

Flyers

At PANAL we provide the launching service for any type of flyer over the national territory. There is a weight limit for flyers per trip to carry out, so it is necessary to do the corresponding analysis of how many flights are necessary.

We must be provided with a copy of the flyer within one week of advance since it is required to obtain authorization from the Authority of Civil Aviation of El Salvador prior to its launch. Contact us to make a budget.

Familiarization flights

It is a flight in which you will experience with your own hands driving an aircraft with the assistance of a flight instructor. You will learn flight leveling, turns, climb, descent and other basic flight maneuvers. Wait for the flight should last 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how busy is the airport with other aircraft.

Tourist flights

If you want to see El Salvador from the sky, this is your opportunity.

The trip is valid for a maximum group of 3 people, whose maximum combined weight is 550 pounds, each person must weigh a maximum of 200 pounds.

You choose one of the destinations and we leave from the Ilopango International Airport. If you want to fly over another destination, we can gladly quote you.

Education

The Panal Aviation School is certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador to teach all courses. Our certificate is CO-EIA-004PAN. We are located at Ilopango International Airport, Hangar 48, El Salvador, Central America.

We are the only aviation school in Central America to have a full motion simulator for general aviation (Redbird MCX) and an Airbus320 simulator.

Private Aviator Pilot License

It is the initial course for every future pilot. This lasts approximately three months and its purpose is to familiarize you with the flight environment: Basic maneuvers, taxiing procedures, takeoff, communication, sectors of work and local and international routes to cover.

Instrument Flight Rating

This course is aimed at preparing and expanding the pilot's capabilities in the use of the instrumentation on board, which will be used safely without the restrictions of a visual pilot. This course will teach you how to use the aids of radio navigation and cartography available for this purpose, taking advantage cabin resources simultaneously.

Commercial Aviator Pilot License

This course is aimed at preparing the pilot at a professional level. You will learn and will understand the flight techniques typical of the commercial field such as: routes long distance, communication with the aeronautical control center, maneuvers advanced; all of this focused on a single purpose which is paid transportation of passengers.

Multiengine Aircraft Rating

The fundamental objective of this course is to transition the aircraft pilot single-engine to twin-engine aircraft, the more complex operation of which will require the learning of additional systems specific to said aircraft, redundancy of controls and handling of situations typical of this type of devices.

Flight Instructor Rating

The fundamental objective of this course is to train a pilot as a Pilot Instructor. Once this course is completed, the instructor will be qualified to undergo an evaluation before the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador and thus obtain his Instructor Rating. This rating will allow you to teach student pilots courses on aeronautical theory in a classroom and flight techniques on the aircraft.

The following items are not included in the educational investment budget:

  1. The uniforms, since each student decides how many shirts and pants to buy.
  2. The payment for the use of the aircraft for the practical examination of each License or Rating, carried out by the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador.
  3. Payments for theoretical and practical exams to be paid at the Civil Aviation Authority of El Salvador.
  4. All established flight hours are mandatory minimums to comply with. Depending on the student's ability, their training may vary and they may have to complete more flight hours or take certain theoretical classes again.
  5. The charge for flights canceled with record, without record or non-attendance, outside the cancellation deadlines.
  6. If a student must undergo the inactivity process.
  7. International route expenses

Although the prices are announced to be valid during the year, these prices are subject to change if there is an increase in the price of fuel, aviation supplies, aviation spare parts and other services that are needed to teach the theoretical and practical classes. Every year the prices change.

There are no refunds for advance payments or monetary returns, so we advise that you pay what you are going to consume and be responsible for your actions.
